INFRASTRUCTURE
The School building sprawls over a vast piece of land of around
8000 square yard situated in Darya Ganj, the heart of the Delhi
city. It is bounded by roads on its 3 sides. It has a very big
lawn in front which is an uncommon sight in walled city. Around
the lawn are three building blocks viz. The main building, the
Science block and the Academic block.
Delhi Gate, Raj Ghat, Red fort, Chandni Chowk and Jama Masjid
are just within a radius of 2 km from the School. Jama Masjid
is clearly visible from the School building.
MAIN
BUILDING:
It houses Principal’s office in
the centre adjoined by office and the staff room. Behind Principals
room is the School library. It is one of the oldest library
of Delhi. Other rooms in the building are used as class rooms.
SCIENCE
BLOCK:
It is the hub of all Science activities. Physics, Chemistry
and Biology laboratories and Science laboratories for Junior
classes are all situated in this block. Also class rooms of
XI and XII science sections are in this block.
ACADEMIC
BLOCK:
In this block apart from few class rooms Computer laboratory,
Art room, Mathematics laboratory and a Multi-Media room are situated.
SPORTS
GROUND:
Behind the main building there
is enough open space for the children to play different sports
as Volley ball, Kabaddi, Badminton, Basket ball etc. On one
side of the sports ground is a well maintained indoor games room with facilities to play Table-Tennis,Chess, Carrom etc..
REFRESHMENT CORNER: A new hygienic refreshment corner which has come up amidst the sitting of big old trees serves delicious food to satiate the taste food of all.
Pure and safe drinking water is provided through water coolers
fitted with water purifier systems. The whole area has several
big trees in the compound with greenery in abundance. The School
offers a very conducive environment for studies.
