Activities
Apart from studies the School provides opportunities to the
students for participation in co-curricular activities.
Scouting:
Students from class VI to class X take part in activities of
scouts. Every year scout of our school participates in the
annual camp and true to the motto of scouts movement
learn-to-serve the society in a selfless manner.
Science Club:
Science students manage and participate in the activities of
the science club of the school. They organize a quiz programme
every year and encourage students to prepare innovative models
for display in Science exhibitions organized at various
levels. It also maintains a notice board where interesting
articles, pictures, life sketches of scientists are displayed.
Activities of the Science Club help in creating interest of
the students in Science and encourage them to nurture
innovative ideas.
Debating Society:
Students are trained and prepared
for different debating events both in English and Hindi. Their
oratory skills are developed and they learn to express their
thoughts without any hesitation.
Arts Club:
Activities of the Arts Club help the budding artist in
developing their skills. Members of the club participate in
various painting competitions and cartoon exhibitions.
Eco Friendly Club:
It was established with the
objective of developing in the students love for nature.
Students work together to make the School environment more
hygienic and pollution free. They undertake activities to
promote the idea of creating a better atmosphere in the School
and in their neighborhood.
Consumer Forum:
The activities of the consumer
forum try to create the awareness in the students regarding
the rights of the consumers and various laws enacted to
safeguard the interest of the consumers.
Sports:
Students of the School are encouraged to take active part in
different sports activities. The School has a well maintained Badminton Court, Volley
Ball Court, Kabaddi Ground, Baskit Ball Court and an Indoor Games Room for Table Tennis, Chess, Carrom, etc.
Cultural Activities:
To promote the talent of the students cultural activities are
arranged round the year. On every Saturday, the first period has
been assigned for the cultural activities. The students prepare
and present their programmes in the morning assembly. They
celebrate all the festivals together with full zeal and
enthusiasm.
